Due to changes in Google's YouTube authentication API, Techsmith Relay's YouTube Publishing Profile is currently succeptible to a bug that can prevent a previously working profile from being able to post to YouTube. This bug is only triggered by editing the profile and clicking the "Authenticate to YouTube" button from within the Publishing Profile set up page on classrecording.oit.umn.edu, so if you have a currently working profile you should remain unaffected unless you manually trigger re-authentication. This issue is also currently preventing new "Publish to YouTube" profiles from being set up.

The OIT Storage team will be updating the code on the production cluster that serves as the General Data Storage Service also known as files.umn.edu and/or nfs.umn.edu. This code update will be minimally disruptive but does require at least one simultaneous reboot of the entire cluster which will take between 7 to 10 minutes and disconnect all sessions using this storage. The reboot will occur at the beginning of the process somewhere between 6:00 and 6:45 a.m. on the 31st of July

In response to a recent denial of service attack, the Listserv web interface was deliberately disabled by the support team. The web interface is only available to UMN IP addresses or from off-campus via VPN; Listserv customers without a UMN account are unable to access the web interface in order to prevent another attack. Customers without a University account may still manage their lists via email commands sent from the list owner's email address. Technicians are currently working to restore full access to the web interface for all Listserv customers.

At 9:15 IT Engineers noticed that the email delivery servers were not operating effeciently. By 10am the service that had failed was restarted and engineers began to recover the email delivery servers. As of 10:10am, email is being delivered, but due to the backlog of message the delay is currently 30 minutes. As we catch up on the backlog of mail, messages will be less and less delayed.
