At approximately 10:45am on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, users began experiencing problems with Google Drive involving sharing and converting Docs, Sheets, and other files stored in Drive, Google Classroom users may also be receiving errors when submitting or viewing assignments and Google Keep users may be affected as well. This problem affects across the country but Google is aware of the issue and currently working to resolve it. Update as of 1/17/17 @ 2pm - Google reports: "Our team is continuing to investigate this issue. Google Engineering reports that error rates are continuing to decrease and that issue is currently affecting less than 10.3% of active users." Ave. Buildings affected were Mayo, Child Rehab, Variety Club, Dwan, Centennial, Frontier, Pioneer, Territorial, etc. Facilities Mgmt was made aware, as well as Xcel Engergy. Currently power has been restored, however, the network at the Mayo building did not recover. IT Engineers are on site working to recover all network managed devices at Mayo building to restore connectivity.
